Born on February 10, 1970 in Fresno, California, Bobby Jones (Robert Joseph Jones) played for the New York Mets and San Diego Padres over the course of his 10 year career. Jones broke into the bigs on August 14, 1993 with the New York Mets, and put up a 3.65 ERA in 61.2 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bobby Jones's best season was 1997, when he posted a 3.63 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 125 batters.
