Bobby Higginson (Robert Leigh Higginson) was born on August 18, 1970 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 26, 1995 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1995, his rookie year, he hit .224 with 14 home runs and 43 RBI. Higginson played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 11 year career.

Most people believe that Bobby Higginson's best season was 2000, when he slugged 30 home runs, hit for a .300 average and knocked in 102 runs.
