Bobby Griffin (Robert Joel Griffin) was born on May 27, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Milby (Houston, TX), Griffin attended Baylor University. Griffin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the New York Yanks. He played for the New York Yanks for his entire 1 year career.
