Bobby Floyd (Robert Nathan Floyd) was born on October 20, 1943 in Hawthorne, California. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1968 for the Baltimore Orioles. In 1972, his rookie year, he hit .179 with 0 home runs and 5 RBI. Floyd played for the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 7 year career.
