Born on April 18, 1955 in Los Angeles, California, Bobby Castillo (Robert Ernie Castillo) played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 9 year career. Castillo broke into the bigs on September 10, 1977 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put up a 2.75 ERA in 98.1 innings pitched in 1980, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bobby Castillo's best season was 1982, when he posted a 3.66 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 123 batters.
