Bobby Batton (Bobby Joe Batton) was born on March 17, 1957 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. After going to high school at Mission (San Francisco, CA), Batton attended Santa Rosa Junior College and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Batton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
