Bob Windsor (Robert Edward Windsor) was born on December 19, 1942 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at Montgomery Blair (Silver Spring, MD), Windsor attended Montgomery College and the University of Kentucky. Windsor made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Bob Windsor's best year, as he hauled in 49 receptions and had 597 receiving yards.
