Bob Wiese (Robert Lee Wiese) was born on January 25, 1923 in Jamestown, North Dakota. After going to high school at Jamestown (ND), Wiese attended the University of Michigan. Wiese made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Bob Wiese's best year, as he picked off 5 passes.
