Bob Whitlow (Robert Edward Whitlow) was born on February 15, 1936 in Shelbyville, Indiana. After going to high school at Bloomington (IN), Whitlow attended Compton JC and the University of Arizona. Whitlow made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1960 was Bob Whitlow's best year.
