Bob Tucker (Robert Louis Tucker) was born on June 8, 1945 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Hazelton (PA), Tucker attended Bloomsburg University. Tucker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was Bob Tucker's best year, as he hauled in 55 receptions, had 764 receiving yards and caught 4 TD passes.
