Bob Tinsley (Robert Porter Tinsley) was born on August 16, 1924 in Damon, Texas. After going to high school at Barber's Hill (Mont Belview, TX), Tinsley attended Baylor University. Tinsley made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the Los Angeles Dons. He played for the Los Angeles Dons for his entire 1 year career.
