Born on November 30, 1960 in Concord, New Hampshire, Bob Tewksbury (Robert Alan Tewksbury) played for the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 13 year career. Tewksbury broke into the bigs on April 11, 1986 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 3.31 ERA in 130.1 innings pitched in 1986, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bob Tewksbury's best season was 1992, when he posted a 2.16 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 91 batters.
