Bob Tatarek (Robert Francis Tatarek) was born on July 3, 1946 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Jeannette (PA), Tatarek attended the University of Miami. Tatarek made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time. Tatarek also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions over the course of his 3 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1971 was Bob Tatarek's best year.
