Bob Stoddard

Born on March 8, 1957 in San Jose, California, Bob Stoddard (Robert Lyle Stoddard) played for the Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers, San Diego Padres and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 7 year career. Stoddard broke into the bigs on September 4, 1981 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 2.41 ERA in 67.1 innings pitched in 1982, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Bob Stoddard's best season was 1983, when he posted a 4.41 ERA and struck out 87 batters.
