Bob Stinson (Gorrell Robert Stinson) was born on October 11, 1945 in Elkin, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on September 23, 1969 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1975, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 1 home run and 9 RBI. Stinson played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, Montreal Expos, Kansas City Royals and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Bob Stinson's best season was 1978, when he knocked in 55 runs.
