Bob Seeds (Ira Robert Seeds) was born on February 24, 1907 in Ringgold, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1930 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1930, his rookie year, he hit .285 with 3 home runs and 32 RBI. Seeds played for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and New York Giants over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Bob Seeds's best season was 1932, when he hit for a .288 average.
