Bob Schnelker (Robert Bernard Schnelker) was born on October 17, 1928 in Galion, Ohio. After going to high school at Upper Sandusky (OH), Schnelker attended Bowling Green State University. Schnelker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1959 was Bob Schnelker's best year, as he hauled in 37 receptions, had 714 receiving yards and caught 6 TD passes.
