Bob Schmit (Robert Steven Schmit) was born on June 28, 1950 in Astoria, New York. After going to high school at Boys Town (NE), Schmit attended the University of Nebraska. Schmit made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1975 was Bob Schmit's best year.
