Bob Rowley (Eldwood Robert Rowley) was born on September 16, 1941 in Somerset, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), Rowley attended the University of Virginia. Rowley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers the entire time. Rowley also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Jets the entire time.
