Bob Ptacek (Robert Ptacek) was born on April 23, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Holy Name (Cleveland, OH), Ptacek attended the University of Michigan. Ptacek made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 1 year career.
