Born on December 10, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bob Priddy (Robert Simpson Priddy) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, Washington Senators, Chicago White Sox, California Angels and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 9 year career. Priddy broke into the bigs on September 20, 1962 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.96 ERA in 91 innings pitched in 1966, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bob Priddy's best season was 1967, when he posted a 3.44 ERA and struck out 57 batters.
