Bob Potts (Robert Crockett Potts) was born on August 16, 1898 in York County, South Carolina. After going to high school at Fort Mill (SC), Potts attended Clemson University. Potts made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets for his entire 1 year career.
