Bob Pickens (Robert James Pickens) was born on February 2, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Evanston (IL), Pickens attended the University of Nebraska and the University of Wisconsin. Pickens made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 3 year career.
