Bob Perry (Melvin Gray Perry) was born on September 14, 1934 in New Bern, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on May 17, 1963 for the Los Angeles Angels. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .253 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI. Perry played for the Los Angeles Angels for his entire 2 year career.
