Bob Padan (Robert Samuel Padan) was born on August 27, 1893 in Portsmouth, Ohio. After going to high school at Martins Ferry (OH), Padan attended Ohio State University and Otterbein College. Padan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Louisville Brecks. He played for the Louisville Brecks for his entire 1 year career.
