Bob Mcnamara (John Robert McNamara) was born on August 12, 1931 in Hastings, Minnesota. After going to high school at Hastings (MN), Mcnamara attended the University of Minnesota. Mcnamara made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1960 was Bob Mcnamara's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
