Bob Mcclure (Robert D. McClure) was born on July 8, 1924 in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Mcclure attended Drake University and the University of Nevada-Reno. Mcclure made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1947 was Bob Mcclure's best year.
