Bob Maddock (Robert Charles Maddock) was born on August 6, 1920 in Santa Ana, California. After going to high school at Santa Ana (CA), Maddock attended the University of Notre Dame. Maddock made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
