Bob Macleod (Robert Frederic MacLeod) was born on October 15, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Glenbard (Glen Ellyn, IL), Macleod attended Dartmouth College. Macleod made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
