Bob Lee
[edit] Biography
Born on November 26, 1937 in Ottumwa, Iowa, Bob Lee (Robert Dean Lee) played for the Los Angeles Angels, California Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 5 year career. Lee broke into the bigs on April 15, 1964 with the Los Angeles Angels, and put up a 1.51 ERA in 137 innings pitched in 1964, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Bob Lee's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1965, when he posted a 1.92 ERA, notched 23 saves and struck out 89 batters. However, others believe that it was 1964, when he posted a 1.51 ERA, notched 19 saves and struck out 111 batters.
