Born on December 9, 1909 in Enterprise, Ohio, Bob Kline (Robert George Kline) played for the Boston Red Sox, Washington Senators and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 5 year career. Kline broke into the bigs on September 17, 1930 with the Boston Red Sox, and put up a 4.41 ERA in 98 innings pitched in 1931, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bob Kline's best season was 1932, when he won 11 games.
