Born on August 4, 1920 in Rochester, New York, Bob Keegan (Robert Charles Keegan) played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 6 year career. Keegan broke into the bigs on May 24, 1953 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 2.74 ERA in 98.2 innings pitched in 1953, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bob Keegan's best season was 1954, when he posted a 3.09 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 61 batters.
