Bob Kearney (Robert Henry Kearney) was born on October 3, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 25, 1979 for the San Francisco Giants. In 1983, his rookie year, he hit .255 with 8 home runs and 32 RBI. Kearney played for the San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 8 year career.
