Bob Jessen (Ernest Robert Jessen) was born on May 1, 1905 in Dickinson, North Dakota. After going to high school at Waseca (MN), Jessen attended the University of Iowa. Jessen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the Cleveland Indians. He played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 1 year career.
