Bob Ivory (Robert James Ivory) was born on January 29, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Catholic Central (Detroit, MI), Ivory attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Ivory made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
