Bob Hoffman

Bob Hoffman (Wayne Robert Hoffman) was born on December 13, 1917 in Star City, West Virginia. After going to high school at Montebello (CA), Hoffman attended the University of Southern California. Hoffman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Washington Redskins. He played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Los Angeles Rams and Washington Redskins over the course of his 5 year NFL career.Hoffman also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Dons the entire time.
Most people believe that 1947 was Bob Hoffman's best year.
