Bob Hein (Robert W. Hein) was born on February 6, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. Hein attended Kent State University. Hein made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
