Bob Hasty

Born on May 3, 1896 in Canton, Georgia, Bob Hasty (Robert Keller Hasty) played for the Philadelphia Athletics for his entire 6 year career. Hasty broke into the bigs on September 11, 1919 with the Philadelphia Athletics, and put up a 5.02 ERA in 71.2 innings pitched in 1920, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Bob Hasty's best season was 1923, when he posted a 4.44 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 56 batters.
