Bob Harris

Born on May 1, 1915 in Gillette, Wyoming, Bob Harris (Robert Arthur Harris) played for the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Browns and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 5 year career. Harris broke into the bigs on September 19, 1938 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 5.50 ERA in 144 innings pitched in 1939, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Bob Harris's best season was 1941, when he won 12 games and struck out 57 batters.
