Bob Gunderman (Robert E. Gunderman) was born on October 8, 1934 in Sparta, New Jersey. After going to high school at Franklin (NJ), Gunderman attended the University of Virginia. Gunderman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
