Bob Grupp (Robert William Grupp) was born on May 8, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA), Grupp attended Duke University. Grupp made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Bob Grupp's best year, as he dropped 23 punts inside the 20 and had a 43.6 yard punt average.
