Bob Gruber (Robert Leon Gruber, Jr.) was born on June 7, 1958 in Del Rio, Texas. After going to high school at Greenville (PA), Gruber attended the University of Pittsburgh. Gruber made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
