Bob Griffin (Robert Griffin) was born on February 12, 1929 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Frederick (OK), Griffin attended the University of Arkansas. Griffin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1955 was Bob Griffin's best year.
