Bob Gifford (Robert V. Gifford) was born on November 11, 1918 in , CT. Gifford attended the University of Denver. Gifford made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
