Bob Ganley (Robert Stephen Ganley) was born on April 23, 1875 in Lowell, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1905 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1906, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 0 home runs and 31 RBI. Ganley played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Senators and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that Bob Ganley's best season was 1907, when he stole 40 bases and hit for a .276 average.
