Bob Gambold (Robert Lee Gambold) was born on February 5, 1929 in Longview, Washington. After going to high school at R.A. Long (Longview, WA), Gambold attended Washington State Universtiy. Gambold made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
