Bob Gaiters (Robert Gaiters) was born on February 26, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio. After going to high school at Zanesville (OH), Gaiters attended New Mexico State University and Santa Ana College. Gaiters made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants over the course of his 2 year NFL career.Gaiters also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
