Bob Denton (Robert Denton) was born on July 24, 1934 in Fresno, California. After going to high school at Stockton (CA), Denton attended San Joaquin Delta College and the University of Pacific. Denton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Bob Denton's best year.
