Bob DeLauer (Robert deLauer) was born on August 30, 1920 in San Francisco, California. After going to high school at Hoover (San Diego, CA), DeLauer attended the University of Southern California. DeLauer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Rams over the course of his 2 year career.
