Bob DeFruiter (Robert Albert DeFruiter) was born on June 3, 1918 in Smithfield, Nebraska. DeFruiter attended the University of Nebraska. DeFruiter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1945 was Bob DeFruiter's best year.
